According to Nissan, the $335 "Splash Guard" pack is one of the most popular options for the Z. Consisting of four discrete, color coded additions, the amount of dirt flung up the car is noticeably reduced.
Not only is cleaning reduced, but the guards reduce the risk of stone chips and other associated damage occurring. This option must be selected early on, as factory fitment is required.
While far from being essential, the "Exterior Ground Lighting" package is definitely worth selecting if you have the budget. At the press of a button, the immediate area beneath and around the car is illuminated.
The system aids visibility when loading and unloading at night, while simultaneously increasing the sense of security.
While the "Virtual Key" is a relatively expensive option at $450, if you can afford it, your life will be made easier. No longer would you need to carry around the physical key, or risk misplacing it. Using a smartphone app, or even an Apple Watch, the car can be unlocked, locked, and even started.

Lighting can be found in the foot wells and cup holders, creating a colored glow. The system is even integrated with the entry and exit lighting, creating impact from the moment you step inside.
