The Future Zen House is a place where the Generation Z can fully immerse themselves in the hyper-connected experience provided by SmartThings from Samsung Electronics.

To introduce and connect Gen Z to SmartThings, Samsung created the Future Gen House.

Based on the popular Gen Z trend of home sharing, the Future Zen House is packed with a host of Samsung products, all connected to SmartThings.

Within the Future Zen House, each space is designed and curated for one of five different Gen Z interest categories, including gaming, entertainment, sports and fitness, cooking and design. There are also shared spaces, including lounges and dining rooms, where visitors can connect and interact with each other.

Future Generation Lab’s Generation Z Samsung employees, Generation Z influencers and college students stayed home and co-existed for two weeks. Over time, they interacted with Samsung and SmartThings products and created unique scenarios based on their preferences and lifestyles.

Remote Dance Battle – Enjoy real-time online dance battles with your friends

When a friend texts you a specific keyword, the default Remote Dance Mode is automatically activated via keyword recognition. The Sero, Samsung 4K Smart TV and Smart Lighting are turned on, and the smartphone screen connects to The Sero via the Smart View feature during a video call.
