Share everything on your iPhone screen to your Samsung TV using screen mirroring.

Screen mirroring is a fun and helpful way to share your iPhone screen on a TV. This works great for movies, pictures, and even certain apps. If you have a Samsung smart TV, you can mirror your iPhone screen easily.

Samsung TVs have plenty of apps built-in, but sometimes mirroring your iPhone screen is faster than downloading a new app. If you’re looking to mirror your iPhone screen to your Samsung TV, here’s how.

While most smart TVs allow you to connect your iPhone, not all of them will allow you to mirror your screen. To mirror your screen, you need to make sure your Samsung TV supports AirPlay. If you’re not sure about that, search the model number and see if it’s AirPlay compatible.

On your Samsung TV, you can also press Source on the remote and see if there’s a screen mirroring option available. If you don’t see this option, it’s likely that your TV isn’t compatible.

Some Samsung TVs allow sharing with AllShare Cast, but this feature is now outdated and isn’t the same as screen mirroring. If you don't have an iPhone, you can also connect an Android phone to your Samsung TV.

To screen mirror your iPhone to your Samsung TV, both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network. While AirPlay does work without Wi-Fi for speakers and other audio devices, it needs Wi-Fi to mirror your screen to a TV.

If you’ve never connected your Samsung TV to a Wi-Fi network, you can do that by clicking Smart Hub on your Samsung TV remote. Once you’re in the Smart Hub you can to connect to a network. Just connect your TV to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone.

You can also click Settings > Network on your Samsung remote to access your network settings. However, if you haven’t set up your Smart Hub you should do that first.

Once you confirmed your TV is compatible and connected to the same Wi-Fi network, it’s time to mirror your screen. To get started, open the Control Center on your iPhone. Then tap the Screen Mirroring button, which looks like two overlapping squares.

Once you open the Screen Mirroring menu, you will see an option for your TV. Select your TV and it will begin to connect. Connecting can take a few minutes sometimes, especially if you haven’t connected before.

After it connects, a code will appear on your Samsung TV. On your iPhone, you will get a prompt to enter the AirPlay code. Just enter this code and tap OK and you will connect.

If you’re having trouble, click Menu on your Samsung remote and head to Network > Screen Mirroring > Device Manager > Device List and remove your iPhone and try again. You can also reset your Samsung TV if you continue to have issues.

Screen mirroring your iPhone to your Samsung TV is easy to do. It’s also very convenient when you’re looking to stream right from your iPhone. Sometimes, it’s even faster than logging into an app on your TV.

Before you start mirroring your iPhone screen, just make sure your Samsung TV is compatible and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Also remember that connecting can take a few minutes the first time you do it, so patience is key. If you have any trouble, be sure to go to your Device Manager and remove your iPhone and try again.
