Rogue Eagles RC Club will host a remote control airplane show this weekend, with all proceeds from the event benefiting Asante Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network.
The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 20 and 21, at Agate Skyways, 888 E. Antelope Road, Eagle Point.
According to a news release from the club, the air show, founded in 2008, will be held under the theme “Time To Fly,” featuring remote control aircraft of all types and sizes with the goal of getting the audience “closer to the action” so they can interact with the “pilots” and have an opportunity to fly the aircraft themselves.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5 for adults or $10 for a car with more than one adult. Kids’ admission is free, and so is parking. Proceeds will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network.
Remote control planes won’t be all anyone sees. Kona-Ice will sell refreshments Saturday while Toasted Cheese will offer food sales Sunday. Raffles are scheduled for both days.
