Stranger Things season 4 is almost here! After almost three years, the Netflix hit is finally coming back to our screens. The nine-episode season has been split into two parts. We’re finally getting the first half on May 27. Then we’ll be treated to season 4 volume 2 on July 1.
The first season’s premise follows the mysterious and sudden vanishing of a young boy (Will). After the incident the people of the small town of Hawkins begin to uncover secrets of a government lab, portals to another world (the Upside Down), and sinister monsters make it into our world. Will’s mother Joyce desperately tries to find him while the police chief, Jim Hopper, searches for answers.
After so long you might need a rewatch of the first three seasons. Or if you’ve never seen the show but want to understand what the hype is all about, then you don’t have much time before season 4 is here!
The answer is no. You can’t watch Stranger Things unless you have a Netflix subscription.
I know this isn’t the best news if you don’t have Netflix, but get your binge-fix on another streaming service. There’s so many subscriptions to manage and pay for. But if you want to check out the science fiction hit, Netflix is the only way to go. Believe me if you haven’t seen the show before, you really need to. The epic series is so worth the hype!
Here’s a break down of Netflix’s subscription plans below for U.S. viewers:
